Creation Hive is a craft and business training enterprise that evolved out of Imani Workshops, a program of AMPATH/Indiana Institute of Global Health(IIGH) formed in 2005. Their primary focus was HIV+ women. Born out of Imani Workshops, Creation Hive was expanded to include individuals affected by Cancer and other chronic illnesses, disabilities, women and other undeserved groups and retained 95% of the staff from Imani Workshops.
In collaboration with International Cancer institute, they began a Child and Family wellness centre (Tulia Manor) in Elgon View Estate, opposite Reale Hospital, Eldoret, a free resting place for non-local patients receiving outpatient chronic disease treatment.
Inside the compound and behind the Tulia Manor, you will find the Creative Hive production workshop where they put all their creativity into work.
