We have some great new yoga bags in store! All are fair trade and handmade by artisans from different parts of the world!
This recycled silk sari yoga bag is handmade by artisans in Nepal with traditional skills and materials. The beautiful silk fabric is vintage and will vary by bag. The great thing is the fabric is salvaged and reused, and environmentally sustainable! There is also an outside zip pocket for your phone and wallet.
Village Works from Cambodia makes this waterproof and durable yoga mat wrap to carry your bag with you to class. It includes adjustable straps and an exterior zip pocket. The wrap is fully lined and silkscreened with fun patterns. To keep production environmentally sustainable, these bags are made with local materials and traditional craftwork, which preserves cultural heritage.
The Peace Exchange partners with female artisans in the Democratic Republic of Congo who make colorful yoga bags using traditional kittenge wax print fabric. We love the added details, like the zip pocket and double drawstring. Each of the bags is unique and is signed by the artisan who made it. You can learn her story online at the The Peace Exchange website!
These bags are practical and beautiful, and also fair trade, which means every purchase you make helps women and their children and families gain a better life! Choose Fair Trade when you shop and be the change. Let Fair Trade become part of your daily life!
